Now that the main side story of November being Act or Die have ended, it is important for players to know about Arknights upcoming events and banners schedule to be able to plan accordingly and save their pulls on all of the best operators in the game this December. Therefore, in this guide, we will go over all of the events and banners that will happen during December, 2025 for Arknights.

Here are all the current and upcoming events and banners that is going to be available in Arknights, from the start of December, 2025 until the end of December, 2025 and includes analysis on the best operators to roll on each banner, what each welfare operators on the different event does and whether or not players should spend their currencies rolling on these banners.

Starting the month of December will feature the rerun of one of the most important Side Story event for the seaborne saga in Arknights, featuring the 5-star Welfare Defender Operator Underflow and the returning rate up banner for the 6-star Guard Operator Ulpianus.

Underflow is a 5-star Defender Operator of the Sentry Protector Archetype that specializes in dealing damage to enemies in a lane, inflicting arts damage to them and slowing them down in the process. She deals extra damage against seaborn enemies and is a decently good defender operator for mid-game players.

Arknights Ulpianus Banner

Ulpianus is a 6-star Guard Operator of the Crusher Archetype that serves as one of the game’s most tanky and powerful laneholder in terms of both survivability and damage output. Ulpianus can essentially hold down waves of enemies on his own while also being able to dish out ridiculous amounts of burst damage and stunning enemies depending on which skill you use, making him a very strong operator to have regardless of situations.

Ulpianus is one of the best Guard operators in the game in both AFK Farming and manual play with his extremely high attack and survivability. This is even more prominent when he is paired with other Abyssal Hunters Operators in the game.

During this time, the rotating standard banner and Kernel banner will also experience a brand new rotation, with the standard banner increasing the rate of the 6-star Caster Operator Lin and the 6-star Guard Operator Executor the Ex Foedere and the kernel banner rating up the 6-star Specialist Aak and the 6-star Vanguard Saga.

Arknights December Standard Banner 1

Lin is a 6-star Operator of the Phalanx Caster, whose gimmick lies in absorbing enemies’ attacks when not using skill and unleashing devastating AoE attacks to surrounding enemies when skill is active. Lin is an extremely tanky operator with the power to reflect damage to enemies attacking her when her skill is not active and is a decently strong AoE Arts DPS when her skill is active. Her main downside is her slow skill rotation and her short range.

Executor the Ex Foedere or Executor Alter is a 6-star Guard Operator of the Reaper Guard Archetype, who can’t be healed by allies but can recover HP the more he attacks enemies. Executor Alter’s main gimmick lies in his ammo-based skill kit which allows him to deal massive amounts of Physical damage to enemies in front of him, dealing extra damage if they are marked. Thanks to this ability and his ability to heal on attacks, Executor Alter functions as a moderately good laneholder operator.

For the Kernel banner characters, both Saga and Aak are relatively old units with outdated gimmicks, with Saga being a decent on demand damage dealer with the ability to generate DP frequently, while Aak is a buffer that offers allies powerful buffs in exchange for massively reducing their HP.

As it is generally not advised for players to roll on either the Standard Banner or the Kernel in general since these operators can spook you in the future, relatively speaking both of these banners are not worth spending rolls on. Both Lin and Executor Alter are relatively niche in their usage overall despite their useful skill kits, and both Saga and Aak are outdated operators whose skill kits have been powercrept by more powerful operators in the game.

After the Path of Life Rerun, we will have the main event of December for Arknights – the Story Collection Event Fantasy In The Mirage, featuring the welfare 5-star Medic Operator Record Keeper and the rated up 6-star Guard Operator Leizi the Thunderbringer.

Record Keeper is a 5-star welfare medic operator of the Medical Medic archetype. He is a very simple single target medic operator with the ability to grant allies special Attack Speed in his range whenever they use their skills. He can also grant allies in his range a healing overtime buff in addition to his healings.

Arknights Leizhi Alter Banner

Leizi the Thunderbringer or Leizhi Alter is a 6-star Guard Operator of the Liberator Guard archetype, with their ability to not attack or block enemies when their skill is not active but can deal devastating damage to enemies once their skill is active. Leizhi Alter’s main gimmick lies in her ability to float when her skill is inactive, making it impossible for enemies to attack her in this state. Once her skill is activated, Leizhi Alter can unleash powerful lightning attacks on enemies in her large range, dealing Arts damage and inflicting Frighten on enemies. Her attacks during skill also bounces between enemies, allowing her to deal with groups of smaller enemies efficiently while also targeting big elite and boss enemies with relative ease.

Overall, Leizhi Alter is a very strong Arts Damage dealer with her powerful skill kit and amazing archetype. Strictly speaking Leizhi Alter functions similarly to Mylnar in both their kits, with Leizhi dealing Arts damage instead of Mylnar’s Physical Damage. Therefore, if you lack an Arts DPS, rolling on her is recommended.

During the Fantasy In The Mirage Event, we will experience yet another Standard Banner and Kernel Banner rotation. This time, the standard banner will feature the 6-star Guard Operator Irene and the 6-star Specialist Operator Dorothy, while the Kernel banner will feature the 6-star Guard Operator Blaze and the 6-star Caster Operator Ifrit.

Arknights December Standard Banner 2

Irene is a 6-star Guard Operator of the Swordmaster archetype, whose gimmick revolves around attack recovery skills that deal big damage to levitating and aerial enemies. Irene’s main skill allows her to attack enemies in a diamond shape, making ground enemies levitate for a short period of time and dealing physical damage to them. She excels at controlling groups of enemies for a short period of time while dealing good damage to them.

Dorothy is a 6-star Specialist Operator of the Trapmaster archetype. She specializes in planting traps on the battlefield that detonate and inflict enemies with various debuffs while dealing arts damage. Dorothy’s bomb can either bind the enemies in place, slow them down or deal damage in a cross-shape pattern when enemies step on them. She is very versatile but require very precise skill placement and quick thinking to make work properly.

For the Kernel banner operators, Blaze is a 6-star Guard of the Centurion archetype that specializes in blocking up to 3 enemies and dealing damage to all of them, making her decently strong laneholder operator, while Ifrit is a 6-star Caster operator of the Blast Caster Archetype, whose main gimmick is dealing arts damage to all enemies in a single line in front of them and burning them.

Aside from the usual advice of not pulling on Kernel or Standard banners to save pulls, both of these banners are not worth pulling on. Both Irene and Dorothy are extremely niche operators despite their fun skill kit, making it hard to use them in general contents and require players to invest a lot of effort to make them work. Meanwhile, both the operators in the Kernel banner are extremely old operators that can be obtained for free through various old and future means, making it less desirable to roll on them, especially when both of their skill kits leave much to be desired in the modern age of Arknights.
